Singapore is the largest port in Southeast Asia and one of the busiest in the World. It is the easiest and most comfortable countries to navigate in Southeast Asia. It has a tremendous public transportation system that makes getting around convenient and easy. Places to visit in Singapore:
Marina Bay Sands is one of the 40 largest hotels in the World. It has 2561 rooms and suites, with 6 expo halls, 250 meeting rooms, and the largest ballroom in Southeast Asia.
Gardens by the Bay consists of three gardens: Bay Central, a garden with a waterfront walk that will eventually connect the other two gardens; Bay East, which is opening in phases as sections are completed, and Bay South, the largest garden, which showcases tropical horticulture, and includes tree-like structures up to 50 meters high that dominate the Gardens’ landscape.
Botanic Gardens, is the only tropical garden, to be honoured as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Orchard Road is the foremost shopping street of Singapore, commonly frequented by the locals as well as foreign visitors. Named after the fruit orchards that the road led to, Orchard Road is flanked by malls, numerous upmarket restaurants, coffee chains, cafés, nightclubs, and hotels. The Christmas decorations along Orchard are prominent and exclusively over the top, with reindeers cavorting all the way through palm trees and gingerbread houses topped with fake snow.
Singapore Flyer is one of the World’s largest Giant Observation Wheel with a height of 165m. It is one of Asia’s biggest tourist attractions.Chinatown, with its handful of historical attractions, is the perfect place for a pleasant stroll. It is divided into four major districts: Kreta Ayer, Telok Ayer, Tanjong Pagar, and Bukit Pasoh, but the centre of performance revolves around Smith and Pagoda Streets. It offers a lot more than just the wonderful restored shops and beautiful places of worship, such as the old Hokkien temple Thian Hock Keng, Sri Mariamman Hindu Temple, and James Mosque, it’s also a haven for food lovers.
Sentosa Island is Singapore’s prized tourist attraction dotted with a smorgasbord of fun-tastic activities for visitors of all ages. There are a lot of places to visit on Sentosa Island with fun friendly attractions for visitors of all ages.
The Merlion in Merlion Park is the mythical symbol of Singapore and easily the most popular attraction on the whole island. The fish’s body of the Merlion represents Singapore’s humble beginnings as a small fishing village at the southern tip of the Malaysian Peninsula and Lion’s head is derived from the country’s original name, Singapura, which means Lion City in Malay.
